You are probably surprised that I haven't mentioned the internet as a source of wholesale contacts. No, this is no oversight. In my experience, most 'so-called' wholesalers who advertise on the internet are really middle men. Their prices will invariably be higher than genuine wholesalers as they are taking their profit by adding a margin for themselves.

One final thing: before commencing your search, be sure to apply for a resale license. A resale license permits you to legally purchase at wholesale prices. Many of the bigger suppliers require a resale license number in order to process your order. The license also helps in bookkeeping as you can very easily get a list of all transactions made.
